I made this sculpture fro a wedding,Its made of jatoba and sycamore.I used a jigsaw and chisel to cut out the basic shape then refined it with and angle grinder, sanding flap and carving knives. The jatoba was hard to work it. I woodburned the dates and names on and sanded to 600 grit and finished the base with danish oil and the dancing couple with polyurethane.

I made a YouTube video of the process please subscribe thumbs up and share!

Beautiful! I can’t imagine how much sanding that took!
