Small purpleheart box made with hobby store ‘lumber’. Dyed veneer, ebony corners, mother of pearl moon, silver stars, inlaid strips.

Very cool at first I thought it was a lunch box. It still would be. all it needs is a handle.

That is cool. Love the moon. Excellent idea. That space scene could go on and on with variations. Ya think? :)

Cool! A nice combination with my other hobbie…astronomy. You moon looks just like the real thing! :)

What form does the silver come in that you use for the stars?

Thanks for sharing!

Thanks all. Hazard, you can buy the silver wire almost any size, tubing and even squares from any jewelry supply house (lapidary). I just drill a hole and dip the wire in black epoxy and stick it in the hole. Then I clip it off and sand.
