Not the original size or design. But I learned a lot. Especially about not skimping on glue and paying attention to grain patterns. During the first attempt I ended up with a hundred little squares of wood as it all came apart on the table saw. I barely had enough wood left-over for this one. I was pleased and want to make more and keep experimenting with patterns and woods. This one is cherry, walnut, and purpleheart.
