This is a slender designed cane with a more elegant style. This is the sister piece of macadamia that I used for Cane #040. I found some extraordinary macadamia that has a spray of orange imbedded in the darker red wood. It is such a hard and dense wood that I can use a cross grain section and still have a very strong handle. The collar is made of Brazilian Ebony and the shaft is made of Maca wood aka: Macacauba that has a beautiful deep red color with orange/gold/bronze tones.

The handle looks very nicely shaped and fits in the user’s palm comfortably!
Great finish too.

I wish I could afford this one! That is an absolutely perfect use of grain on that handle. Where do you find wood like that?! Outstanding!
