This tray I made with my command logo from work which is the marquetry inlaid into the main tray compartment.

Dewey, you don’t get away that easy, this is great looking, but how did you make it? What is the command? very nice work.

JFCC-IMD (Joint Functional Component Command For Integrated Missile Defense) based in Colorado Springs.

We shot the satellite down last year if you recall.

How I made it would take me a while to explain but jest is:
3 slabs of walnut for the top
3 slabs of African mahogany for the bottom
CMT bowl and tray kit
Custom MDF template
Custom made inlay
Marquetry for the logo inlaid into the main tray
Turned coffee stir stick holder
Wipe on varnish finish

Beautifully done, Sir.

Really good looking piece.

Thanks for taking out that satellite, incidentally. I was starting to worry….. ;-)
