We have a nephew getting married this weekend (April 18th) and I wanted to give them a gift that would capture the essence of this special and precious day. We bought them a Lennox wedding photo album and I built a keepsake box to store and protect their album & photos.
The top and bottom of the box are made from curly maple and the four sides are African mahogany. The four corners have box joints and the 3D carving and engraving were done on my RoMaxx CNC. Love this new tool.
Hope they enjoy it as much as I enjoyed making it.

I’ve got the HS-1. I haven’t gotten to use it much because the weather was cold when it arrived then I started the garage renovation project. I’m done now and looking forward to lots of time with the Romaxx.
This is awesome. What software did you use? What spindle do you have and maybe the bits you used. hahaha Sorry, lots of questions, I know.

Matt,
I am using Aspire software (it’s great). I also use the Porter Cable router as the spindle (the one offered thru RoMaxx). I have found so far that the carving bits from Beckwith work very well. They are a little expensive, but do an excellent job.
Hope this helps …. Ray
