Once again, excuse the sawdust. This is my first try making a bombe (pronounced “bombay”) style chest. I used 6/4 Cypress that I hauled back from Floral City, Fla. (big deal for me, cuz, I live just outside of Montreal). The lid frame is Padouk, rabbeted, with a bookmatch piece of Cypress sitting in the rabbet. The edges are still square, cuz, I still have not made up my mind as to the treatment I will give it (so far, “ogee” is the pik)

I really like the way you used the colors and grain pattern. Nice work!
