This is a Horizontal Alpine murphy bed with some modifications. I added a full length desk to the face of the wall bed. The desk top folds up and two wings hinge around to support the top. Even though gravity holds the desk top down, I needed top put a latch on it so that when the bed opens it doesn’t drag the ground.

The bookcase on the side acts as a headboard when the bed is down. Also you’ll see in the corner there is a cut out on the bed’s vertical. This is another bookcase to take advantage of the dead space in the corner.

In one of the pictures you’ll see a panel. This was built to cover the customers plumbing in the basement. I grooved out the panels to match the front. The customer will install and finish on site.

-Built in February 2015
-Wood: Oak
-Color: Unfinished
-Mechanism: Create-a-bed

Now that’s a large piece of beautiful work.
