I had fun making a hand-cut dovetailed box for storing router bits. Made out of horrible scrappy reclaimed wood, glue squeeze-out is visible, the hinge-fitting is atrocious, but it was great fun. Sometimes nice to make something just because you want to, and not because it’s on the never-ending list of jobs that need to be done.

Craig, there’s no reason to knock your box. I like it a lot. It has a sort of old world rustic look about it that appeals to the eye.

I just picked up a bunch of new router bits to make my own Hardwood dowel for treading and now I have to make a Box like yours to store them! Thanks alot. LOL! Them Dovetails look real Good!
