Wow! This is pretty awesome looking. Very unique design and piece. You couldn’t have found a better front panel, it has a grace all it’s own. I’d love to see the matching bed.

Thanks everybody for the nice comments, yes is my own design my main aim was to make it seem like the draw was floating in thin air when open hence lack of visable draw runners. Will post the bed ASAP.

absoloutley gorgouse. i love it. the desighn is origonal. what kind of wood is the drawer front? it almost looks like a spalted piece of poplar or something

You have to show me the pics of the bed. I was leaning towards making the bedroom suite out of Blackheart sassafras and the wife was looking more towards the blackwood but what a winner. Now im trying to source the timber in Sydney but im not having luck. Im going to have to get it sent up. The timber yards are complaining that you have to buy a complete pack of which they reckon 90% is straight sassafras. Can you tell me if i sent a quote somewhere, would they fill it?
