Friend came up to me and ask if I could build a custom entertainment center sence he could not find one that would fit his TV. The Television was 36” wide and I gave it 2” on each side for air witch I made the hole 40 1/2” wide X 32 1/2” tall. After building this piece my friend was totally happy with it. The total measurement is 80 1/2” wide X 54 1/4” tall X 25” deep. This was made from White and Red Oak from the Wisconsin are.

Earle5: I am perplexed about how you were able to keep that curved trim piece in your glass curved. That seems like a difficult thing to have accomplished. Nice job.

Thank you for your compliment on my entertainment center. The curved pieces of oak was curved from a jig I made and kept wetting the wood with hot water then putting a little more bend to it each time until I got the right curve. The jigs are quite simple to make. I’ll draw one up and post it in the next few days. Jim Earl
