I made this from pieces I found at a local cabinet makers scrap bin.
I believe it’s ash ply with poplar and walnut trim. Finished with brushed on semi-gloss poly.
I like the way the dark colors in the poplar match the walnut.

Awesome piece. I really like the the walnut on the edge of the table top.

Very nice!! The poplar and walnut really look great together and I like your design as well. I may have to “borrow” it in a future project

I didn’t realize how similar poplar and hackberry are.! This project is superb! Was it that stressful that you are down to your last bottle??
