sun set bowl design

hi yet another bowl this one has a sun set feather ring in it
i thought i would not put the sun set design all the way around it
so i put one every other one not sure if it works
but the wife likes it so i gees it will sell
it is 13 inches at the rim 6 at the bottom and 5 and a half tall
the finish is sand and seal and bees wax
wood used are oak silky oak wenge zebrano purple heart
there are 156 pieces in this one but a lot of fun
what is your opinions good or bad all welcome

Branch, that looks really good, I like it very much.
Sometimes less is better and I think that this is a perfect example.
I love the design.

Very nice work. That is a difficult glue up. I think your addicted to segmenting.

It totally works. I think doing the sun in every square would be too busy, but every other square is a perfect balance. The silky oak in the remaining square looks really nice.

Very nice feature ring Branch, I think it was a good decision not to do the design all around, the spaces have worked out well. Should have no problems selling this one.

Branch, that has to be one of the cleanest bowls I’ve seen. I love the design and overall beauty of it.
