This was my first bandsaw box. Cut from a single piece of Maple that came off the stump from the local woods after my neighbor took the tree away. It was a lot of fun and the whole thing was completed in 4 hours from start to finish.
My wife thinks it looks like a bird, I think it kind of looks like the Sphinx.

Hey, Rich, if this is your first, you’re on the road, man. I wish my first looked that good….or my last as far as that goes. Hope you make a bunch more. You might consider putting a thin shim under the drawer to even it up all around. Great design. Wish I could turn them out in four hours.

Well done. As Gary suggested using a shim, (I call the sleepers or runners) to help centralise the drawer in the cabinet, not only adds to the appearance of your finished work, but also facilitiates access to the drawer.
