Hi everybody,

Here’s another one of my projects. This time it is one I finished more recently (today).

I made one of these before for friends of mine that got married, though it had a more classic look.
This one is for my colleague who got married a few weeks ago.

He likes things to feel a little more rustic, so I made this box from scrap wood with a greywash finish.
It has an inside box of MDF to keep it all together.
To make it feel rough, I used some rope for the handles and put an old potato bag on the inside as lining.
For hinges I felt it would be appropriate to use some garden-fence hinges.

This will keep his wedding photo album (and other stuff) free from fungi for the rest of his life!

I hope you like it and please comment!

Quite an interesting idea – the potato sack is a fun idea.
