I posted a blog on a project made on a metal lathe.
A ‘Cube Within A Cube’
I since found out there were plenty of examples of it being done in wood.
This is the blog;

I had to make one and as I commented in the blog;
“I could not believe how easy it was to make on the drill press. It took about an hour.
The tricky bit was separating the 2 cubes”
I used Camphor Laurel and finished it with wipe on poly.

This is something worth having fun with. Really cool looking. Nice piece.

Nice going, Tony and you made it out of a nice piece of wood. I have been meaning to try that someday.

Cheers, Jim

I really enjoy items of this sort. I know a boy in need of something positive in his life and this might be a nice gift idea. Something small, yet interesting.

Pointer, a perfect thing for kids to think about instead of sticking their heads in a phone all day.

Very cool Grumpy. Something to talk about for new visitors in the shop, or as a knickknack in the home
