This desk is part of my office series blog and is the first piece to be completed. It is built entirely with lumber from the big box stores. The joinst are all pocket holes the saw you see is quite possibly the best example of $5 I have spent at a yard sale in long time, I cut all the miters using that set up rather then generating a ton of dust with my chop saw.
I am quite happy with the way it turned out. More pieces are under construction and hope to have the office completely furnished by mid-summer. All the details are in my blog section.

I am inspired by the elegant simplicity of the end product and the means you used to get there.
Thanks for sharing – and inspiring.
