Tool Cabinet

Project by Woodmule posted 224 days ago 1363 views 32 times favorited 23 comments Add to Favorites Watch

I made this tool cabinet to help me keep my tools off the ground and reduce the time I spent looking for them. I took ideas from 3 different plans and combined them into one. Now all I need to do is make some tool holders for the inner doors.

What a great project, How are the drawers attached to the top part of the cabinet? How did you make the doors? Thanks.

I really, really like the cabinet. Having the two sets of doors as well as the drawers gives lots of storage for all your hand tools.

BUT, I’m a bit worried about the hatchet being in such close proximity…Woodworking can be frustrating, so you may want to remove temptation! (not that I’ve ever felt like it, but I have a friend…)

I really could use one like this. I’ve seen quite a few variations on this theme, but yours is my favorite.

Great cabinet. Could you post the dimensions? As organization is not my strong suit I am always looking for projects that can provide more structure to my shop.

This is a great project. It keeps your tools organized and readily available while taking up a relatively small amount of wall space.

Great job. I am going to add this to my favorites as well.

Nice Cabinet!! I don’t think I have ever seen a design that gets so much out of a relatively small space. It would be great if you could post some dimensions or link to more details. I am in the process of finishing out my shop and that cabinet would be awesome. Excellent job, you should be very proud!!

Just stumbled across this tool cabinet, great design and execution, if you would be willing to send a few more detailed shots and a few basic measurements, I would love to make a freely available dimensioned plan for AwlFreePlans.com with credit to you as the designer.
