Over the years I have carved different figures on on deck. This is one of them.
I’ve discovered that when I make a mixture of Linseed Oil, mineral spirits, & Beeswax. Over a period of time the carving darkens up like it had been stained.

Do you carve these while the board is on the deck?

What a great addition to the deck….I think you may have the perfect lake house Dick. Hey I know….party at Dick’s cabin on the July 15th LJ Picnic…...see if we can fit 1000 LJ’s into his canoe….:)

Thanks Bob.
Nobody can ever find my place, they end up getting lost. A satellite installer got lost for 4 hours last year.
That would be something, to have 1000 lost Lumber jocks jamming up the roads. LOL

Some people just read the newspaper on the deck. How many cups of coffee did it take to get this one done? :-)

LOL….You’ve heard of “Burning Man” well we have “LJ Log Jam” Minnesota will never be the same.
HHmmm….what kind of peanut butter goes with log jam? ....maybe walnut butter would be better….extra burl crunchy of course.
