This lamp is definitely one-of-a-kind the back of it is a piece of oak tree bark glass is it vase from a secondhand store.
The base of the lamp is Black Oak as well as maple Burl I goldleaf the inside of the tree bark sporadically after coating it thoroughly with deft finish. I really wish I would’ve taken more images of it in the future I’ll show some of my work with a little more detail in the images. On a bright note I made the local newspaper.getting ready to move from California to Colorado where I’m going to be setting up shop there in the project that I’m about to start working on involves the top of the cedar tree stump that try to heal itself as well as Manzanita black walnut Oak black out looking forward to posting it . Oh almost forgot this is a text lamp if you’re able to zoom in the gold leafed spots on the base of the lamp the first one to the right is the touch switch I might also add the lamp is doable with that switch.

I like the unusual and this is a good one. You never know where you might find good useable pieces of “art” waiting to be discovered.

Sometimes it takes me a while to figure things out – I was wondering why anyone would include a newspaper as part of their project.

Then I got it – congrats on the front page!
