This is my version of the picnic wine table. I did away with the handle as in previous versions as the hole for the wine bottle is large enough to use as a handle. It is made from walnut, maple, cherry and purple heart and the leg is box elder. I used a folding table leg hinge so it locks into place either open or closed. Finished with just 3 coats of polyurethane. Table is 12 inches across and 22 inches high.

Neat!

Nice work and good design!

I will be copying—not as nicely done; more for the Beer & chips crowd!

Old card table leg hardware should work! Thanks for the inspiration.

ralbuck , I also made just a flat square table with no holes ( a little larger) for myself. (a beer and chips guy too) It works great around a horseshoe pit.

If you had a bunch of them you could have a wine tasting party. Very nice…
