Very unique. I don’t think they would work in my straight hair. Too slippery. But they are interesting.

OK.
Why would one use a hair stick?
If that is a tarp they are laying on they appear to be pretty big.
Inquiring minds want to know.

My best friend loves these sticks. Thanks for the Christmas idea! They’re beautiful.
Lee- they are used to keep sometimes complicated hair do’s up. They anchor hair styles of women with long hair. Common to see them on Geisha in today’s day and time, I’d guess. Cindy usually braids her hair and uses them to keep up the complicated (to me) knots. I only know three or four women that use them.

lovely detail! and – just fine craftsmanship here!
Since i cut my hair – i found the “Hair Sticks” are very useful as chop stix too!
:)
(and great also for stirring drinks …. ah, ... the Swizzle Stick! ~ )
Hey Jim; how bought some close ups of those miniature goblets you crafted -?
EVEN BETTER: some close ups of those newer bowls / cups/urns you have there! – awe heck!; .... why not a small, virtual tour of your shop? ! heh! ( serious! ) .....would be really fun to see!
~ nice work Jim!_
