12” diameter 5 1/2” deep. By the title, can you tell I do Ren Faires? I can’t believe how many times I heard the question “did you know there is a hole in this?” Very tough to keep my sarcasm in check.
I do wonder if I should make some laces across the hole…

-- to turn or not to turn, is that really a question?

Nice turning there Jimnl

One for the dummies: why does it have a hole in it, apart from the obvious and what does that have to do with Ren faires? I hope you do not dress up as Queen Victoria !!

The hole is from where all the punky wood tore out and the Ren Faire comment because so many younger people have no idea what a chamber pot is.

Have you tried “Can you believe that was made by one enormous South American Termite?” or maybe “Yeah that happened when I threw it at the knight who made a pass at my wife – he won’t be using that codpiece anytime soon.”
Great job, with or without the hole. Thanks for posting
