Adirondack Chairs

Project by Cov posted 227 days ago 887 views 7 times favorited 10 comments Add to Favorites Watch

I sold eight of my chairs to a winery. They are made of Western Red Cedar, stainless steel hardware, and have three coats of Varathane. I also made four Redwood chairs for a local school auction. They are beautiful it’s hard for me to give them up! ;-)

Great looking chairs and congrats on the sale of them. That’s the best looking design I have seen yet. Good job!

Thanks for the look Cov I built my first last year and then 8 of them for family and friends for xmass past. I wish I had had cedar that thick, built mine out of 9/16 material and doug fir stringers and legs. Nice job, Branded? :( I broke mine two days ago, only got to use it maybe 20 thymes. Some days I miss Northern Calif, origionally from Sonoma. Thanks, Wooley

Thanks Kindlingmaker, I also like your work.

Wooleywoodsmith, I like your work too. I also think you should sell your crafts at a higher price point. Have you tried selling on http://www.craigslist.org Give it a try.

Best Regards, Cov

these are great.!!! I really love the thick wood…just gives it such a nice look…i built two out of redwood…and the one that I took my time on…after my lessons of wood working…just broke on me when i sat on it on an uneven surface…

outstanding…
