This was my first attempt at cabinet making. It was a long project for me (and especially for my better half). She did all the staining and finishing. It took about 6 months from the time I started drawing the plan until the time I added the crown moulding. The counter top was an old bench I found at a garage sale that I picked up for $10. I took on this project after watching NORM’S series on a full kitchen remodle. I still have three more walls of cabinets to do but I am going to do a bathroom vanity before I continue the kitchen.

Nice job. Norm would be proud. Nice dovetails too. I have’nt been able to make a decent one if my life depended on it. It took me six months to do my wifes kitchen and I bought all the cabinets. lol. So you’re doing pretty good.

Looking good. I made some too. I like to go into the kitchen and look at them. Yep. That’s the stuff. 2 years and on and I’m still not done with all of them.

Really great-looking cabinets . . . especially for your first attempt! We’re anxious to see the rest.

Thanks for all the nice comments. I need all the encouragement I can get. The wife says if I take two years she will hire someone to finish them. MMMMM!!! there is an idea!
