Tandem Door Cabinet!

I documented this build on my YouTube Channel: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qxlcygeFhkc

I build this cabinet out of 3/4” red oak plywood, 1/2” red oak plywood, and 3/4” red oak. Main joinery was pocket screws.

This tandem door cabinet is possible by Rockler’s tandem door hinges. The directions were very easy to follow and illustrated exactly the size door needed for any cabinet to utilize the hinges.

I placed this cabinet in my office, I use this space specifically for video editing, general office work, vinyl decal weeding, etc etc. This cabinet allows me the ability to exponentially expand my wall storage and organize my office.

I used Kaizen foam for the front of the cabinets. You could replace the 1/4” plywood with peg board for shop, garage, and even storage/shed applications.

I like the amazing amount of storage. The inside of the cabinet is nice for paint cans and motor oil. Interesting. I am going to have to check these hinges out. Great video!
