LOL!

Wouldn’t want to be a bicyclist there!

Before Paul outdoes me with creative description. LOL! I want to say you are on your game. This piece takes my eye in right away. I really like the almost seamless seams, and the subtleties of the grain movement. Oh Yeah, and the craftsmanship it’s a Greg!

Nice box Greg and how thoughtful were those responsible for making the sign for such a great obstacle course for the hikers and bikers.

QS Sycamore is my favorite wood and you did it proud!

Those gators look friendly from here. Makes you want to stop and rub em on the belly.

Beautiful box! I love the character of that sycamore—looks like a baby fawn’s fur!

And since you brought it up, I’ll relay one of my favorite gator stories:

I read an article in the newspaper years back that there was a gator on the shoulder of the highway down in Florida; some drivers having called in to report it. A Florida state trooper was sent out to deal with it. Well apparently it was mating season, and this gator wasn’t a happy camper. So the trooper gets out of his cruiser (I don’t know what he thought he was going to do), and goes to confront this gator. Well the gator proceeds to chase the trooper back into his cruiser, then proceeds to tear part of the rubber bumper off the car for good measure! The trooper barely managed to get out of there with himself, and his car, intact!

I guess the moral of that story is, don’t mess with male gators during mating season….......!

Greg, not only do your boxes have that artistic look, your selection of lumber and combination are astounding.
How about a gator tooth looking box?

I will admit that the title of this thread had me thinking strange thoughts before I opened it up. Nice! I’d like to get some QS Sycamore at some point, once the list of tasks is reduced.
