It has been a while since I have posted anything, but here is a wedding gift for my wife’s niece. Made with maple and walnut. The only finish is just wipe on poly.

Beautiful box! Did you use an inlay kit for the hearts or just carefully rout them by hand (a la the Wood Whisperer’s leaf inlay)?

Timbo, I used a template to rout the hearts out. Finding the heart template the right size was kind of hard, but finally found something at Hobby Lobby that would work. Thanks for all the comments. She seemed to be very pleased.
