Toy grader design measures about 250mm long. The front wheels swivel but they don’t turn. May consider a redesign sometime in the future, possibly linking them (front wheels) to the blade.

Free plans available from construction toy plans, great project to use up your scrap pieces, also an easy project for beginners.

Made with hand tools and an electric drill.

Good and solid. The kids should get a lot of use out of these.

Nice simple design which allows the kids the play with it. Not sure if that is what you had in mind. Show pieces are nice, but this one may actually see some sand.

Thanks for the comments.

Prefer the simple design at this stage because it is a lot easier to make and (hopefully) stands up to rough play.
