Project Description
This is another blank that I had glued up quite some time ago. It’s nice to see it become a completed project! It did not take long for my sister-in-law to take claim of this one!

Stopper Stats:
  • Total pieces: 121
  • Primary wood: Red Leaf Maple
  • Secondary wood: Jatoba (Brazilian Cherry)
  • Cap: Sapele
  • Dimensions: 2-1/8” tall, 1” diameter
  • Finish: CA/BLO

Really Gorgeous, Darryl!

Reminds me of a wicker basket.

these are so cool…

you asked me what I use for finishing my stoppers and pens…I get it at PSI…

First I used the ””EEE Ultra-Shine Cream Wax””:http://www.pennstateind.com/store/PKSWEEE.html?mybuyscid=3787745211&utmsource=mybuys&utmmedium=webrecs&utmcampaign=mybuyswebrecs…after sanding…

Then I use 1-2 coats of the ””Shell Wax Liquid Friction Polish””:http://www.pennstateind.com/store/PKSWAXL1.html?mybuyscid=3787745211&utmsource=mybuys&utmmedium=webrecs&utmcampaign=mybuyswebrecs…

The stuff is expensive…but I have had both for a year…with some left…
