I didn’t build the wood rack but I did use the tube idea and mounted one under a shelf in my shop. It works like a charm, so I will mount a couple more.

I love the idea, but I have finally started putting my cordless tools in a drawer. My 6 year old Dewalt drill smokes for 30 seconds every time I used it. It is time for me to protect those motors from the dust.

I may put a holder on my assembly table as the drill is always in the way.
