This was originally a game board for a friend of mine. As you can see from the line drawing, it’s for a card game. I actually built 2 and kept one for myself. I now use it as a center piece on my dining table.

The board is 18” in diameter. The nine spokes in the wheel are made up of alternating pieces of white oak, cherry, and walnut with a soft maple hub. The substrate is 1/2 red oak ply. The board is wrapped in red oak veneer and finished in 5 coats of hand rubbed tung oil.

nice looking board ,
good that you made two , we so little get to keep our own work.
it’s good to remind ourselves about what we can do .
i’ve started projects and in the middle realized that i already figured this out 5 years ago !
