Router Accessory Cabinet

I decided it was time to give my expensive router bits a place deserving of their value. I used a bunch of small pieces I had lying around, mostly hard Maple with a cedar back. I left some room for several more. A couple of drawers to throw the collets, guide bushings and wrenches into and I’m happy.
Home made hinges and latch, and that old scratched up p’glass is a gift from my dear departed Father-in-Law that I’ve been holding onto for years, and it has instant sentimental value to me. Thanks Dad

That’s a really nice looking cabinet. The hinges are something else! That might be a scrap wood project but it is a real show piece.

That is a fine router bit cabinet and it will be a wonderful addition to your shop.

Fine work. Too much money in those bits not to cafe for them. I have a Kreg router table and plan to start this week on cabinets beneath the table, particularly for storage of bits. Prob won’t look as nice as this. Love those hinges man.
