My wife had a couple of sets of shadow boxes & i had some pieces of pine handy so i cut made some of my own , they are 9” X 9”, 7”X7”, & 5”X5” , simple miter cuts on the corners & glued , stained with a med. walnut stain & 4-5 coats of wipe-on poly. I used a key hole bit to make the hangers on the back & the material was 1/2” thick , they look good on a wall or stacked together on a small table, this was a fast & simple project, my wife likes to put small nic-nacs in them.
hope you enjoy
