This is a plain & simple box , all woods were 1/2” thick for the carcass & 1/4” for the drawer parts. The top & bottom is sapele & the sides i used jatoba, the drawer fornt is spalted maple & the sides i used maple , bottom for the drawer is oak plywood as is the back of the box 1/8” thick , i really like how the sapele grain shows up when finished , i used wipe-on poly for the finish & the box was 7 1/2” X 3 1/2” high X 5” deep. I used just simple dado’s for the sides with a brass knob for the drawer.
Thanks for taking the time to look.

I’m not a very good photographer , just learning how to use the camera so the pics are not the best to show off the woods to what they really look like.

That’s a nice box, I like the spalted Maple.
Did you use Gloss WOP?
