Recently I’ve had back surgery and have been confined to my house. Cabin fever finally took hold and I had to get into my wood shop. During this same period my brother and his wife welcomed a new son to the world. Being that I cant lift anything over a few pounds, I decided to make him a little stool. And that was so fun to do I made a second one. The woods are walnut and hackberry. I took both from standing trees to finished furniture.

The original stool design is by Marc Spagnuolo

You have realy done great job. It’s the same as Marco’s stool. I like two types of wood in your project it looks much better.

Sorry to here of your limitations. Certainly didn’t limit the creativity and beauty of your work.

Great looking stool, and a wonderful gift for the new rugrat!

I love the design of these stools, and you did an outstanding job on both.
