I built this “Baby Baby Grand” for my Daughter Liberty back in ‘98 for Christmas. When she outgrew it I brought it back from her mothers house so It didn’t become like most of the other things I’d given the kids when the outgrew them.My youngest son Jackson began playing at 11 months old and unlike most small children he didn’ just pound on the keys he played 1 at a time.It is made of bendy plywood and MDF covered in vertical grade laminate. The legs are replacement funiture legs bought from the hardware store screwed into threaded inserts in the bottom.

Very nicely done. I got to keep this in mind when I start getting grand kids.
And a comment on your two favorite smells…...Right on!

Thanks for all the positive feedback! The size is roughly 30”x30”. It just kind of designed itself really I was getting her the keyboard as one of her presents and thought why not make a baby baby grand?I’m glad I did this piece (while not the most challenging)is one of my favorite projects.

Great idea. I’m sure she loved it as well as your son does now.
Thanks for posting it.

Yeah they both have fun with it.I finally broke down and got an adapter for the power after about 100 sets of 5 AA batteries I figured it would be cheaper….sometimes i’m not so quick
