Trophy shelf plus!

I finally finished an order that drove me crazy! I had an order for a trophy case but every design I came up with was too large for what was wanted. Finally we agreed on a simple shelf. As a second thought I added shaker pegs to hang things from. Turned out to be a great idea as her daughter had medals that needed added to the display. Stained with red oak and three coats of gloss polyurethane.
Now for an added touch she ordered some signs for their rooms. The names and butterfly’s are all carved in with a dremel router. Go slow but steady. Stained with red oak and the butterfly’s are colored with sharpie marker. Three coats of gloss polyurethane.
Also a repeat order. She was so happy with the first book case that she ordered another one. Really kept me busy. In fact, she has already ordered two more projects! I take a lot of pride that someone would be so happy with my work that they would want more.

Keeping it simple. Nicely done, Jeff! Good call on the pegs. Congratulations on the repeat business. Easy to see why she is a happy customer. Thanks for sharing.

Awesome work Jeff, I can see why your customer wants you to do more projects for her.

Very nice trophy shelf. Good work with the red stain. Great job on the signs too. I don’t know if my hands are steady enough to do that

Thanks Dave, the lettering and graphics are slow steady work. Trick is to use a low speed. My eyes are usually strained when I finish. The can koozie has been tested and worked great. Thanks.
