I did some trading with a friend of mine who does welding, I had him extend the track on my saw mill 10’. In exchange for a cover for his pool table in his man cave. This was a difficult task for me me, fist off the top had to be 101” long and 58” wide. Most of my material is 8’ long, so that little bit extra was a pain believe it or not. Then he wanted is 3/4” thick but be solid and light. Okay so I had to cut the top in half to where he could man handle it better due to the weight. It was rewarding but glad it’s done and gone.

So who was the winner from this deal???
I bet the welder is happy with his Pool table cover.
That ERC is glorious.
Great job.

Bob.

Really beautiful. It would look great in a den.

-- Mother Nature created it, I just assemble it.

Very nice! Good that it’s cedar too, it shouldn’t be too heavy to lift

That’s a really nice piece – thanks for sharing.

How did you extend the length?
What finish did you use?

I have a pool table that would benefit from something like that :)

Thank everyone, Jesinfla I used a board stretcher to make the boards longer LOl! No I used longer logs on my saw mill to make the longer boards. The finish is Minwax clear gloss polyurethane and about 6 coats.

This is very nice. I have a strict rule in my basement with my pool table, and that is: Nothing on the pool table except pool table accessories only.
