9 days….. That is how long I had to make this table. From meeting with client to delivery….9 days. The client had a party coming up and needed a new table. It is made with oak and oak plywood. The finish was Old Masters Wiping Stain with General Finishes Arm-R-Seal overcoat.

The second photo shows the inside of the top. A torsion box made with 1/4” luan.

The last photo (sorry, but didn’t have time to finish the bottom of the table top. Please, get over it) is how we had to assemble the table on site. The base is 36” deep and I dropped a bolt and couldn’t reach it. The client’s in-law jumped over in to the base and retrieved the bolt. Fat boy here couldn’t hope to do that.

The table measures 42” tall, 85” long and 36” wide. Thanks for looking.

Nice work and all, but how come so high for a dining table? Even with those chairs it appears too high?

Woodust, the client specified the height. It is same has a high top table at a restaurant. Usually in the bar. It is very comfortable to sit or stand and eat.
