Made of Solid Mahogany, this was my first real piece. I used only a Radial arm saw, so the piece is actually very rough, still has saw marks, but hey, it was all I had at the time.

I like how you’ve used spacers between the slats rather than doing mortises. Pretty clever. Nice looking piece.

It made the assmebly much faster and I didn’t have to get a 3” thick timber, just laminated 4/4 planks.
