I’ve never been much into bullet pens… not that I’m against guns because I’m not, but I just don’t see the correlation between guns and pens. They are two very different things. But anyway, I made this one as a Memorial Day gift to a Vietnam veteran friend of mine, who I think will like it and that’s what really matters. It’s gun metal and brass with Coolibah burl as the wood. Finished with about 8 coats of CA and polished to a glassy finish.

Okay, I have to confess… I do kind of like it. But I still say it makes no sense.

To all who served our country and helped to protect our freedom… Thank You!

Tis good to give a gift that will be liked….
Seems to me, that it will be well received.
Justifiably so….

I echo your thought of thanks!!!

I decided I like it too, Gary. I guess I’ll have to get more of these kits and maybe keep a couple for myself.

Ted

You did a great job. I have never turned a bolt action pen but have done a lot of bullet pens and I like them along with Antler added too. Hope you sell bunches in the future.

Thanks Jim.

Andy, I wouldn’t pull your leg. Here’s some similar to what I bought…

Thanks Arlin. I didn’t plan on selling them but I’ve got quite a few now… thinking maybe I should put a few online and see how they do. Monte says these types of pens tend to sell.

That they do, Andy. But to be honest, if it were maple burl or walnut burl, I wouldn’t know the difference other than the price.
