Was fishing with a friend and he lost his old pocket watch.
He was very unhappy about his loss. We searched for hours… nothing.
Some weeks later I found internet pictures of shop made pocket watches.
Ok, not a big thing to build one. Just turned a small piece of wood and drilled a bit.
The first watch was for the friend, with a cent at the back – maybe if he is out of money during fishing :)
Well, this small gift was a big surprise.
Meanwhile I built five watches, people who saw these watches wanted one.
I think it’s a small project nevertheless a nice gift.

I used cherry, birch and maple wood.
