This was a Christmas gift to my son-in-law a few years ago. My daughter came to me with the glass chess board and asked if I could make a table for it to set in. She told me it was for Chris, her hubby, but he didn’t know about it. She didn’t want it to be big and bulky or a standard straight legged table, this is what I came up with. The chess board lifts out to get to the pieces stored underneath.
