Don’t you just hate it?

Don’t you just hate it when you have loose tools? I know that I do as I tend to lose them. So, I took some scrap red oak and built a box for these small phillips drivers. I use them all of the time and really wanted to keep them in one place. The Wood Duck is just to give it some character. Dimensions are 8”L x 5 ½”W x 2 ½”D.

Is the duck painted? Pretty fancy screwdriver storage.

Thanks for the comments. No, the duck is not painted. Just a photo that has been mod podged. Nothing is too good for my tools. I really like these screw drivers and I use them a lot. ;)

”Don’t you just hate it?”

I thought you were complaining because you left the box outside and it filled up with water and a woodduck decided to call it home! Nice box!

That’s a wonderful box. Who says a “shop box” can’t look nice! I treat mine like a project also. Great job and really like the duck.

Thanks for the compliment and the laugh. I would surely lose a good box if a wood duck moved in. We only have them in our pond during the winter, but the wife names them all.

Thanks for the compliment. I agree, anyone can make a plain old box. I prefer to give mine a little character and practice my skills at the same time.
