Here’s a mask I carved and decided to display behind a two-way mirror. While building the frame to house both the mask and the mirror, I drilled holes in the side panels and wrapped a strip of LED tape around the external perimeter of the inner wall. I then wired the lights to a dimmer control to change the levels of light within the frame.

This creates a cool interactive experience where the user sees only their reflection with the lights off, but slowly begins to find a mask returning their gaze as the lights come up.

I’ve also posted this project on behance here along with some of my other portfolio work. Enjoy!

Very interesting and neat project. Wish I was that creative.
