From a local logger I got a cheap rough white ash board.
And there were other wood pieces for free available, red oak 1 1/4” x 1 1/4” x 12”.
Nearby I was able to use an old thickness planer for the ash board – amazing look after planing.
I cut the red oak pieces into slats and laminated them into small boards.
Result was a small medicine cabinet of white ash, with red oak boards inside and two small drawers of red oak. The rear wall is plywood.
Dimensions are 16” x 14” x 6”

Looks great. I really like the natural look of the cabinet.
