Hello everyone. It has been quite a while since my last post. Normally I have posted boxes, but this time it is a bit different. I have had some time off and the wife decided to put me to work. Man…talk about a task master!!!LOL We have lived in our house for 20+ years and have had the same old butcher block formica counter tops and back splashes. The boss asked me to revamp the kitchen…she supplied her wants and design while I supplied the labor and materials. She found the counter tops and she decided (finally) that the back splash would be tile. We also added a new sink. The wife was an uhhh…mmm…ok helper, but I don’t think I will hire her again…she makes a much better wife…LOL All that is left to do is to reface the cabinets and make new doors. We are on a shoestring budget on this project. I really enjoyed the project and I am looking forward to working on the cabinets, when I get back to work…Victor

Looks great, I really like the back splash. My wife and our two year old helped me install our tops. family fun work time. Very good face lift.

Great remodelling work. Time is critical in this particular work.
You got to find the most suitable time to do the measuring, fitting, installing and cleaning OR the boss would say ” sorry dear, no breakfast no lunch and no dinner at home today!”

Same project coming up for this summer. I am also going to install gfi outlets. I hope mine comes out as good as yours did.
