Walnut Urn

Project by BlueRocco posted 244 days ago 307 views 1 time favorited 6 comments Add to Favorites Watch

This is my first Urn. I made it for my mom when she died this January. Took me two days, The top is solid and I glued in a turned wooden screw. I also threaded an insert for the urn itself and glued it in. Both were made of Maple. I finished it with three coats of wipe on poly, rubbing it down each time with “000” steel wool. After the last coat dried, I did a full buffing with the Beal Buffing system.

It’s a beautiful project for a sad reason . God bless you and your Mom .
