WOW….....Those cabinets look great. I’ve only worked with cypress one time and that was to build a sign for a flooring company where I had my cabinet shop years ago. We really had a hard time getting any uo here in the NC Appalachians. These cabinets really look good. Excellent job.

You do some very nice work. I never worked with cypress wood but it looks like it makes a nice looking cabinet. Great looking kichen but we need some pictures when the job is done. Thanks for posting.

Is cypress wood mainly grown in your area. I would of thought south till I seen the snow on the ground.

God Bless

Cypress is very soft and easy on the tools. No sap like pine and very light. Staining can be a problem though, the wood blotches easily. General Finishes gel stain will fix that issue, the stains pricey but you get what you pay for.

Very, very impressive! I’m hoping to get to that level, preferably in the near future! I’m in baton rouge and have been getting most of my cypress via Cajun cypress in baker. While they’ve treated me very well, I’m always looking for different sources and any tips for working with cypress. I’d appreciate if you’d Keep me in the loop whenever it’s convenient. Thanks again for the compliments!
